The establishment license of Mahtab Parsian Company, including units for converting methanol to propylene, polypropylene, isopropanel, acrylic acid, acrylates, exo alcohols and superabsorbents, was issued by the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade in April 2015. Mahtab Parsian Petrochemical, located in the Parsian Special Energy Zone, has signed a memorandum of understanding on financing with a reputable Chinese company, which will be able to use this facility as soon as possible if it receives a feed allocation permit from the Ministry of Oil and international conditions are favorable.
